Introducing TPF's Independent Coaches
As a club we have invested in 4 coaches to help jump start you and or your family into fishing. Our coaches are accredited by the Angling trust and qualified to teach you to fish. As well as supporting the club with free teaching events, they will also run independent coaching classes on a one to one basis basis.
We believe as a club, fishing as a sport is a great choice for you and your family. The rewards from achieving a personal best or catching a new species can be very satisfying. We hope by having coaches available you can learn what fishing could bring to you.
Fishing can be very mindful and calming. Choosing a beautiful spot to fish where you can take in the surroundings and focus on that one task, catching a fish. We believe fishing can give your mind a chance to relax from the everyday pressures of life.
Taking part in competitions or working on your chosen lake with their teams, can include a social aspect to the sport. But equally fishing can be solitary, providing you with time on your own. Its all dependant on what you are looking for.
Many of our anglers combine their love of fishing with photography, taking home memories of each trip even if the fish are not biting. Our coaches have over 25 years of experience to pass on to the next generation and past generations and are eager to share their skills with you.
Our coaches volunteer for Angling Trust free events, as well as offering excellent one to one tuition independently. We wish them every success and hope that you will sign up and become a new angler.

AGES AND CATAGORIES
Open to anglers aged 8 to whatever age you want to start
Juniors + 8-13 years (1 junior per season/coach)
Teens 14-17 years (1 teen per session/coach)
Adults 18+ (1 adult per session/ coach)
Extra siblings can be added to your package please speak to your coach or message the page
Hourly Session Prices held Tuesdays and Thursdays 3-6 for junior+, Teens and Adults
1- hour session £20 Have a go / set up
2-hour session £35 fish care/ bait choices
3-hour session £50 baiting and casting fish handling and safety on the bank
EACH SESSION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON YOUR SKILL SET
All sessions Include bait, tackle hire and day ticket at Tilgate park
Sessions at other lakes may have increased prices to account for day ticket prices at different locations speak to your coach

You will definitely need more than 1-hour to build your confidence on the bank , talk to your coach to find out how often you can book your sessions so they can support your learning.

Juniors and Teens £100
ALL JUNIOR AND TEEN MEMBERSHIP PACKAGES INCLUDE BAIT, TACKLE HIRE AND MEMBERSHIP TO TILGATE PARK FISHERIES,
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH AND REFRESHMENTS AND ENSURE YOU ARE APPROPRIATELY DRESSED AND PREPARED FOR THE WEATHER ON THE DAY
Memberships are renewed annually on the same date each year 1/4 to 31/3 year on year regardless of when you join.
Applications for all sessions or packages to be completed for first session and inform the coach if any changes to your application occur before the day or thereafter.
